Description

We often seem to do our best to destroy nature and it's beauty by building ugly machines and cities. However, as much as we try, one must wonder: what do we gain from our inventions that is so much better than what was here first? Photograph of a Redwoods Forest by me in July of 2004, rendered in Bryce, no postwork.

Yes, instead of accepting and adapting to our environment, we seem bent on beating it into something we can control- and in doing so, we lose it. Good concept, and excellent message.

Ah, yes. The debate about what is true progress and what is not? You are wise beyond your young years. Excellent.

we need shelter to get out of the cold and fire to cook and warm us. And a.c. to cool us [that is nice to have]. ships to sail the seas. Yes we may have went too far but I do not think so. Yes we may have wasted a lot but the third world do the worse for poor old earth; they do not care. what to do then live in caves? image is good love it
