Description

Markal was really generous and shared his knowledge about overlays with me. In actual fact I wanted to create a "Markal Pebbles River Scene" but then I decided to raise the camera and changed the pebbles to rocks cause I'm still trying to create a good pebbles texture. ( Rocks are easier to do IMHO! ;-) ) So this rocky waterside on bottom of this scene is just a first step in practicing. Anyway, thank you very much Markal - your tips helped me yet and the scene with pebbles will follow... Thanks for viewing - all comments and suggestions are very welcome - have a nice day...

Ein ungewnliches Format, dass bei diesem Bild auch wirklich nig ist. Es dauert schon etwas, bis man alles erfasst hat und kleiner we es wahrscheinlich nur halb so sch gewesen. Xlt! :-)

Very effective blending of overlay and surfaces makes for a very real image. Love it.

AWESOME!!! nice colour! im my opinion the rocks tex in the proximity of the water is too big, may be they should have more tiles, or also mantain the same tiles and put it a little bit underwater (also with a little improvement of water transparency)they result to my eyes better! Excellent Rank 4 me!

The foreground rocks are super...love the view, surfaces and atmo...but, I must be honest...I only placed about 80% of my overlay tricks and tips in that tutorial...I feel guilty...maybe I'll rewrite it. Super excellent image!!!

You have done an excellent job creating this image. All elements are treated with a lot of thought. I especially like the 'rock' overlay. I going to have to find a .bmp like this.
