Description

I reccomend watching a movie called "The Corporation" (Canada,2002)...Cannes Film Festival Winner, it points out such interesting things as certain corporations trying to buy the rights to human DNA... and a British company that owned the drinking water in a town in Peru and had the government pass a law making it illegal for the local residents there to be able to collect rainwater to drink!

Honestly, i don't find this as amazing as everyone else seems to. It's incredibly thought provoking, has a very strong message...but i just don't like it. Sorry.

Y'all mean teh say they turnt Sudbury into an oil tanker? Betcha that cost a big nickel. What'll they think of next? You know, years ago, and not only in the military, when they took PARTS from one jeep and used them as REPLACEMENTS in other vehicles, they called it CANNIBALIZING. Then along came that CHRISTIAN Barnard fella, you knowthe one with the heart TRANSPLANTS, hoho. Nice sense of space....

In my opinion, it's very good while someone express his opinion and informs others about important events such as the movie you've mentioned. But I can't understand why you could not withstand dougocd comment to the point that you sent him a message about it ? (If what he says on forum is truth) - it was only his opinion, and he had right to express it. Unfortunately, it is true that most of corporations (not only big ones!) don't care for environment, don't care for their employees and don't respect the law. Their one and only goal is to maximize profits and to do it at any cost. Once I worked for such hideous multinational - Valeo (automotive scrap manufacturer) - 0 dignity, 0 honor - only cash matter...

Great image - so what that it sounds like a Michael Moore movie? I would take that as a compliment. I love Michael Moore and Fahrenheit 9/11 . Thanks for the tip about The Corporation - just watched Uncovered - the Truth About the War in Iraq it was very illuminating - well done image!

We are not too far away from Orwell's greatest fears...if we allow our choices to create such a world.

My, this is a knock on those dirty secretive corporation schemes and the secret government subversions on us. No body can own anybody, but those controlled corporations are just doing that. Glad someone is expressing this outrage! Hats off!
