This is so true! They usually are the wiser ones actually! I like the "head", with one eye visible and big and the other half of the face "hidden", like a quiet observer indeed! To see without being seen! I love that! ;)

I'm guilty Jim... not trying too make this place better -except for not eating meat and trying not to harm others- I hide safely in imagination, trying to communicate in images. I like to watch, only judge things in terms of aestetics without having real opinions. I wonder what the effect of an attitude like this would have. You made a fine piece here which makes me think of architectural shapes...a watchtower.

Very true Jim! You convey that disturbing sense of subtle power really well with this, the warm colour has the effect of making the whole image & concept quite disconcerting & enigmatic. Nice one ; )

This is a very good creation IMO. I like the colours and the way I have to "discover" your image before I get the title...

Wonderful, wise looking observer. Golden color has its ambiguity - warm, and shining, but with a hard metallic glow. And yet, gold is quite soft as a metal :-) Impressive, and beautiful picture!

This is really Egyptian for me and reminds me of a mummy's tomb, coated in pure gold and glowing. I love the energy vibrating from it, despite its rigid, motionless form. Beautifully expressed my friend HUGS Thank you so much for sharing :)

A great sense of stillness in this image Jim silent observer is a fitting title, love the rich gold colours they make a very iconic image.

I don't know which one is stronger, the image or the comment about it. Indeed the observer affects entirely the observed one.
