Description
For Markal, who has given me the Markal award for 'Best Experimental Artist'. Thanks so much, Mark! I am very honored. This one is for you! :-)
I was experimenting with lighting/atmosphere effects and ended up with this. I really like the shadows on the hills. I think they look like caves and I can even see a face of a skull or two in there! Terrain was generated in terragen (2049x2049).
I've really missed posting here, but I had a few weeks back there that were completely hectic and stressful. But I had to scratch that terragen itch again! ;-)

Rarely comment on Terragen as I'm usually into the photography galleries, but your stuff is so darned good! Fantastic effects and I can see those skulls too! I'm not surprised Markal has made those comments! Congratulations on such excellent images!

Oh, Buzzzzz; Markal; these are just neophytes waiting for the right time to inject some humor. You know, these guys, like you, produce some very inspirational work; and, this work is super! Excellent work Mike! The lighting is the key element in this composition.
