Description

A feeling of melancholy came over me when I happened upon this long-ignored and forgotten war veteran parked in a shabby lot in Moro, Oregon. For Sale signs on the grille and in the windshield were faded, rust had claimed small sections of the metal, and there were cobwebs in the cab. This old war-horse will likely never run again, but it still carries, faintly but proudly, the old serial number and hints of many coats of paint, long since abraded away by decades of sun, wind, rain, snow and sleet.

I just love this image. It is my favorite subject to capture. Not too many here, but I bet there is loads of them in Ore. Why else would Concouers'dElegance be there. Bravo on keeping the textures sharp.

An exceptional photograph with a melancholy feel. It's as though you've captured memories and a story or two... and it makes me wish this Chevy could talk. Wonderful image! :)
