It's A LONG Story and I failed English so don't read if your a writing critic..LOL The story went something like this (it's been some years since I thought about it,so bare with me if u know about them.) these guys were part of a secret government project. "Meta-humans project" they were to be used as soldiers for the the military (of course!) They did not want to be used so they escaped (of course ), and are hunted by the government, as well as other "Meta-humans". The story was kinda like, Beauty and the Beast meets the A-Team! LOL ! Or Robocop whatever. "Imagine This..." was the company ( a bunch of cool guys who enjoyed comics...except one! ) They came up with the idea and had the 1st issue finished, went the artist for the LTD series had to quit so thats were I came in I finished the 2nd issue and had begun the 3rd when it fell apart :^( This was in 1993-4 before the internet and publishing was very expensive. Well we re-united in the summer of '95 and I suggested that we put it on the internet, I was shot down by one of the guys, he said and I qoute " The internet!?! No one is on it, and who would see it ?! " ;^P MORON!!! ( and get this he was a programmer for IBM!!!) Oh well the art director (DEON) and one of the founders of Imagine This... is doing pretty well after working at hasbro toys and desigining all of the Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire toys as well as Transformers: Beast Wars as well as other comic books for the Big "3". Is now the artist for a comic called SKUMM ! (do a search) the other guys I haven't heard from but I hope they are ALL doing well :^) Cool fact though: the original title was "Freak Force" that's right the very same from Image by Erik Larson. Well the guys met him at a comic-con and discussed what would happen because Imagine This had come up with the title 1st! It was agreed that he (Erik Larson) allowed them to run an ad for Project:Meta Force an issue of Savage Dragon I think its issue 2or 4 oh well !!! I told u it was a long story...Whew!!!
