Description

After eight months, three continents and too any perils to list here, Haubek reached the Ancient Ruins of Saldru L'San. If Gaulder's Stone did exist, all the knowledge and power of the greatest Shadow Wizard would be his. As difficult a quest as this had been, events had unfolded in a way that made Haubek feel as though it was his destiny to find the stone. Of course, it was obvious that the stone would be well hidden after so many centuries. So, it was a bit of a shock when the man came to the grand entrance and found the Wizard Gaulder hovering there, larger than life, holding the all-powerful orb. Haubek paused and knew that his first statement would be vitally important in getting the stone for himself. And that statement was..............? *** Made the ruins in Amapi, mats by Gurrea. Used Zbrush to warp the robe. Getting an altitude mat on the robe, so it faded at the bottom, was the hardest part. Placed a translucent plane between foreground and mountains to fade background. Negative lights are in the hood and sleeve

reminds me of my times playing D&D. I guess Haubek wasn't expecting the old wizard to still have the stone himself! He's in a bit of a pickle I'd say.

Actually, the wizard hovering there is just an illusion to lure Haubek deeper and deeper into adventure. )Well, that's usually what happens... Lol) Great image and story.
