Description
this is an older image that i have been reworking - i would like more dramatic shadows, but here it is - i have used WaterWorks to add ice to the surface of the lake a little

Beautiful image! The transparency is great and you can almost feel the cold.

I agree with melc; this image portrays the coldness of the Arctic region. As a suggestion, you might consider decreasing your gamma setting a bit...experiment with this. As is, this is excellent work.

Agree with Bob, lower gamma increases contrast and saturation if memory serves. I always set mine at about 1.1 I like the rock surfaces and snow distribution.

You can set the color of your shadows darker. Also, you can move the sun, or increase the density persistence, and get more clouds. I'm away from my copy of Terragen, so I can't be more specific without opening the program, but if you have questions, I will try to answer them either right away or in a few days.
