Description

I would like to place this image as #38 into my Family album. The story: We were waiting at Betsy's apartment for Betsy. She had been away for several hours now, on her own wedding. We, her friends helped her with all the preparing things... and when she was ready and beautiful she left us. We weren't surprised that she left us at her own apartment. We knew for a long time now, that we wouldn't be at her wedding. Some months ago, when she and her fianc

I love the image Koty, so relaxed and comfortable looking! Bravo! Unfortunately, I have no answer to your question. As artists, we seem often doomed to be misunderstood and even unappreciated by our friend and family, at least we have our artist fellowship here at Renderosity! Hugs!

wonderful shadows and composition A very sweet image. My family think what I am doing is a waste of time - my mother would prefer me sitting infront of the tv knitting lol just like her Chris :o)

Oh, hon! Sometimes people do the strangest things...I am sorry that she did not appreciate the image. : ( Reminds me of a story, if you don't mind...Where I left all of my pencil and charcoal drawings and water colours at my mother's house when I first moved to CT to be with my future husband. (we are now divorced) When I came back for a visit, My sister had taken all of my drawings and paintings, one of a kind irreplaceable drawings, that I had packed away and cut them and pasted them all over her bedroom walls. LOL...I was so devestated...but as I sit here and tell you this story, I realize that she probably missed me. Gorgeous image, Koty! Your kindness to your friend was very sweet! Hugz, Meli

koty, this is a wonderful image, and i totally agree with why friends and damily do not get it. i spent many hours last christmas working on images for the females in my family only one understood what it meant that i made and gave them something...the others seemed to think that maybe i was to cheap or something. I understand and am with you on ur question. and i do love this image!

I absolutely love this image, the poses and dress of the characters are fantastic! I'm sorry about what your friend did, that is so wrong. If I hadn't been invited to her wedding I don't know if I would have gotten her anything at all. But thats just me. And a gift from a friend, any gift, is to be valued very highly and not just thrown away! We all love your art, some people just can't appreciate a good thing when they have it I guess. :)

Beautiful work Koty! I cannot imagine your friend throwing away a work of art you did for her. I think she should have cherished it. I agree with Dennis also, some unfortunate people do not understand the love that goes into art.

Awesome! As always, sweetie, your artwork and stories touch the depths of my heart. I feel so bad about your friend throwing away such a priceless gift, as well as not being invited to your friend's wedding. You have such an incredible talent in so many areas and I always love seeing your work. Brilliant artwork! (((HUGS)))

Interesting story, hope you keep them up. Many people have lost their taste for "real" (tangible, not on the computer) art and think that if they have the url, they have it forever. Not that they don't value paper, they just think of the url as more permanent. How things change.
