I like the sky, the rocks and the bushes. The moon needs some work though

Not bad, add some DOF to the image to give it depth. Plus, the spheres in the image (guess they are planets) don't look right. The one in front looks like it's right over the rocks--only a few feet above.

Very nice job, especially for a first try. I like your positioning of items and the camera. As mentioned above, the planets do not look right though. I don't have a suggestion as to how to fix it, as I have vue 4 and it has built in planets. One suggestion I do have is to take the rock clump on the left and lower it a little. It appears to be a bit above the ground or just touching it. Great job!!!

Everyone has basically added what I would suggest - but I also notices that the "tree" looks too smooth on the ends of the branch... I don't know how you would do it - but maybe you might want to add a deeper bumpmap, or if you can a transmap at the end of the longest branch to "unsmooth" it... Other then that - and the planets - I love it... :)

scene is great... just agree with spheres & maybe give a little compression on the pic...

The problem with the "planets" is that they appear to be below the cload layer. Try fading them out a bit. Look at the moon, when you can see it during the day, for guidence. Other than that I like it.
