Description
Every other summer, the local Greek church has a festival, which typically fills the surrounding neighborhood with the aroma of various cooked/grilled meats.
I was drawn to the activity by the smell, and managed to take a couple photographs before I realized I didn't have my wallet, and couldn't purchase any of the things producing the various roasted/grilled smells. (Bah!)

I've been on that bloody ride & thats about the way it makes you feel very strange,but then it was wet, I was silding out of the seat, I love the way you did this Bravo!! well done (V)!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :0)

Hehe. Two funniest signs I ever saw on restaurants: (1) on a diner door in an old more or less abandoned uranium mine town: SORRY WE'RE OPEN (long before it was packaged and made trite); (2) on one of the best Greek restaurants(at the time) in NYC: IF YOU ARE POOR AND HUNGRY, COME AROUND BACK AND WE WILL FEED YOU. IF YOU STEAL FROM US, WE WILL DEAL WITH YOU IN THE GREEK FASHION. 'Course neither 'sign' works well with illiterates...

I love Greek food festivals, and we went to our local one recently...but I wanted to spend my life savings on it and forgot to bring it. :o) Maybe next time, though we did splurg and purchased some baklava. Yummy.
