She is faced with the task of clearing her family name before a council not known for their compassion, making an ally out of the man who killed her father, mother and older brother and once sought her life as well, or facing the death to which all her family was put before her. Trouble is, she cannot lie, not even about what she is, and she knows for fact that more than half the ideas for which her father was executed are true. The trick will be to come out of this alive without the council forcing her to remain within the city as their leader.
