Description

Ever heard of Caution going to Paranoia?? Well I expeerienced it yesterday. It was a strange day in my life. A friend from RR , a very kind sweet soul asked me to call her at her number in Canada , a collect call and I do that. She is very sweet with me and wants to sponsor me or help me in anyway in coming over to Canada and make a future for myself as she thinks I am very talented ( I really dunno:P:P)). Well, I am pleased with her offer, thank her a lot for her heartfelt feelings and overwhelmed by her generosity when the call suddenly goes disconnect......... I think some disruption in service so I type on the net.... sorry got disconnected and I will call you some othr time. She says hang on.........and comes back after a while. Guess what had happened?? The phone was not disconnected, someone disrupted the call, the Govt. officials most likely then they ask her.........Are you alright? Who was that called you?? Do you know him?? what does he do??? etc. etc., She tried her best to convey to them that he was an artist friend from India but the grilling continued for as long that she had to snub them off and bang the phone. Talk of Protection?? Overzealous won't you say?? I have not even set my foot on those soils and I am already a suspect??? Just cause I called from India, do I become a threat?? This is what I say as caution going the Paranoia way. Anyway this friend was very much upset and I told her...... look here lady..... think of it another way..... just see how protective they are........ they thought it was weird that you got a collect call from such long distance and the call was going long and they just wanted to be sure you was alright. There was no malice in their heart as far as you were concerned, they were just doing their job but at the same time,t hey did infringe on your right to privacy, they sure must have heard the conversation too which is a big NO. It deeply saddens me in a way. Is this what a Terror state is?? This image is dedicated to that wonderful soul who had nothing but compassion in her heart. All she wanted to do was bring a smile on my face. Thanks bundles my dear friend, the world is still a nice place because of people like you. (((HUGGGGGGGGGS)))) :O)) SNAKEY

Wow, thats some photo, and story. Ah, I remember the days when they used to tap my phone lines........what,none of you ever had it happen either, lol. No really, we used to have problems in the neighborhood of some people planting marijuana in other people woods. They would fly over with the choppers and listen in on calls, known by the suttle click that you can barely hear in a patter over time, lol. Well the finaly caught the people and all was well. I know they were just thinking they were trying to help her,but I mean come on. Just cause its a collect call and last, doesnt mean anything is wrong. What did they think you were doing, hypnotizing her with your voice and talking her into doing something. Well with that said, excellent capture and job here.

Well, All I can say about that is.. Weird to the max.. and it was Canada not US guys.. I would hope that what we do and who we choose to be social to and make friends with..isn't compromised because of the bad in this world..causing people to have to take caution.. I'm not paranoid.. just live life, love each other, be at peace and be happy.

That is an intriguing story! They may not have been listening in....or were they? If they weren't listening in then it was a courtesy on their part (the phone company). I doubt it was government officials. Anyways, I hope you can move to my country! I love it here! I hope to visit India one day to. Make sure you don't move somewhere that's too cold - Edmonton or Winnipeg....unless you can handle it!

What a story indeed!!! I understand why you are saddened. i am too. In just the past 7 years alone, I have worked with people from all around the world and have enjoyed their friendships and learning about their countries and cultures. My life has been enriched by people who are different from me. and, of course, I married a "foreigner." I just wish everyone would look at each other with love and peace. no fighting, no terrorism...just see each other as human beings. sigh A wonderful dedication & gorgeous butty, my friend!!!

WE don't live in igloos here!! & I live on the PACIFIC ocean -very BEAUTIFUL place & it is also a rainforest-it is sometimes sheer ignorance & arrogance to think that a Country such as beautiful as Canada is holds nothing else but snow...SO very silly!! Sometimes-because of what I KNOW I think that we hold the BEST of everything...but paranoia runs through everywhere yo go right now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
