Description

Yeaho! Big floating ship things! I want one! I didn't realize until looking at the hot20 just now that I probably subconciously got the inspiration for this image from Woodhurst. So thanks Woodhurst, for the unconcious inspiration! Yup. So.... yeah. This is the image... and it's very...imagelike. Yup. That's pretty much it. Modeled completely in Bryce Post in After Effects (weird, but efficient). Jerry Breen is totally my uncle.

Awesome as always Ian! Especially great texture and atmospheric work here! One comment though (everyone groans) - on one of the ropes/pipes on the nearer ship the one that is attached to the darker torus seems to show a little of it's flat cylinderey (word?) end. Maybe having the rope rotated a bit more into the metal, or if the rope's made of some kind of metal you could have it curve over like a pipe. Sorry to be so nitpicky, but with your work putting us all to shame, I have to do SOMETHING for my self-esteem... ;)
