Description

I photographed these butterflies in the Vercors (French Alps) where these species are numerous. For more information see the french version. _._._._._._._._._._ This is my first attempt at photo-composition : I used Photoshop Elements (a simplified version of Photoshop). I have some difficulties to make frames (boxes). If someone can help me on that topic, he/she his welcome!! ~~~~~~~~~~ French Version ~~~~~~~~~~ J

d'apr ma doc, il s'agit d'un "Tabac d'Espagne" (Argynnis paphia). Les ailles odorantes du me (androconies) servent au cours du vol nuptial; elles rendent la femelle reptive... ;-) Tes photos sont superbes, Chantal, et bien meilleures que celles qui figurent dans mon guide Flammarion !! BRAVO :~)

Et bien, tu n'auras pas mis longtemps maitriser l'art du "postwork". Cette composition est louissante. Les photos aient dbelles la base, mais les mettre en valeur comme ... comment dire... m'en rabat le caquet...

Fantastic shots and wonderful presentation. All i can say about the frames is that it takes a bit of math to make them perfect boarders. I don't have photoshop or elements, but my program has a grid overlay and or ruler to help position images on matte. I hope I helped rather than confused you. Keep up the good work my friend.
