Description

This is a virtual incarnation of a game concept I put together probably 15 years ago. I don't have the patience to sit through a game of D&D, so I dreamed up a fantasy-themed games played on a 3-dimensional board with some very simple rules for movement and combat. The basic goal of the game is to be the first to reach the Red Tower (at the center of the board) and retrieve the Orb of Power. Movement is controlled by a roll of the red die, and modified by the type of terrain the player enters and the change in height. Combat can occur when 2 players are in adjacent hexes, and weapons and armor have various interactions, as listed on the cards. The white dice are used to determine when a player locates an item of interest. Other than the player pieces, everything has been modelled, textured and rendered in Cinema 4D XL 7. Credits for the player pieces themselves are, alas, too many to mention, but most are from either DAZ3D or Poserstyle. Enjoy! ;-)

I used to try to make my own board games but never had the means to make them pleasing on the eye.I think its great that you made this come out so realistic and brings out a vision of something you once hoped to create so many years ago:)

Looks like a cool concept, and it's obvious that a lot of time and love went into this - very cool! :)
