Haven't I been through all of this before?
Haven't I seen this scenario played out countless times?
Haven't you attempted to reach me Time out of Time?
How many more millennia must you search through
For the one solution to unite us both in one Frame?
Parallel Time Lines transverse through Multiverses
where you walk the membranes between seeking.
You've conquered Eternal Life and have retained my soul
For safekeeping until I can join with you once more
Your people came to my world and taught others
the procedure...the preciseness needed to gain eternity
but it was all lost by us as misconception and ignorance.
Time is such a localized concept when removed from
the vastness of existence beyond human conception
You have known this lonely desperation far longer than
my consciousness has been awakened to its echoes
Generations of women in this my family lineage
Have nurtured her...the One you desire...the One...
who completes and is completed only within your arms.
How long you have protected, guided, became Avatar to
until you're mind ached with the load of burdens thrust upon you
By others clamoring for the Secret you alone held out of reach
My heart cries out my soul's desperation to relieve your pain
Helpless but to await your final solution...your walking through the Gate.

you paint such pretty pictures with your words,.. regards to your last line, i would say the wait is over, the final solution has already begun. and yet no one need raise a finger, nature & evolution, where in the past they have travelled side by side...now, they are face to face...and they have issues....and we are lucky enough, (or unlucky enough), to be top ov the agenda, how brave ov us, to be involved in such grand designs without a single get out clause.....i love stuff that makes me think :O) excellent work !!

Sorry, cagewench for my ignorance re StarTrek...I never watched any of it except back in the late 60s when it first hit the tv and my family still had a black and white Motorola! I'm not a sci-fi fan...sorry! My writing it purely from my own life experiences...
