Description
The Ventasians are the most advanced memeber of the Fellowship of Star-Faring Sentients. The Type 4 Star Guardian is the Ventasian counterpart to the Human Deep Space Explorer. Since Ventasians are about twice as tall as Humans, their starships are likewise larger. The Type 4 Star Guardian was modeled and rendered using TrueSpace 6.6 with callouts and website banner added using Corel Draw 12.

Just a thought, but how does it guard without armaments ? Excellent job, though.

They look almost gem-like, I have the feeling that they have a pretty hard exterior. Interesting shapes, David.

In answer to the query above, all the armaments of the Ventasian Star Guardian are hidden from view. Some highly advanced energy beams probably emanate fron the upper and lower sensor towers; the spikes of the quantum foam absorbers could also project force or particle beams of some kind. Finally, the engineering core could probably shoot out a very destructive beam from the center bottom of the titanic vessel. The vessel also has some more exotic defenseive systems such as the capability of projecting 3D projections at some distance for the ship and enveloping targets in an energy dampening field.

Hmm.. very intresting design tho a bit abstract in texture and shape. I tend myself to a more technical approach to spaceships.. then again who knows.. actually im a Fan of your work but i dont know if i should like this one or not..still thinking
