The fractal looks very interesting. IMO a bit of sharpening would improve the image...

Vey pretty coorfull pattern and border But i am agree on both comments. The renderingsharping can much better and that make,s most the good end result May be Ruth make ,s a little mistake in the savingscaling procedure

It's a beautiful image! On the banding and bleeding issue... the .jpeg compression is a little high... you're good to go with file sizes up to 500 kB in this gallery.... and if the banding and bleeding continue to be an issue on the optimized image, try to add some uniform noise at about 4% (+ or -) before compressing.... that may get rid of some of your moire strife.... :) Matters not, though... this is a stellar fractal, Ruthee!! :)
