Description

Peaceful Spring near Milesburn Cabin along the Pennsylvania section of the Appalachian Trail, May 2004. This little spring was perfect for resting after an incredibly steep descent on the trail. It is a good thing we rested, because it was followed by a steep climb on the other side too! Very difficult to access, but like most challenging things in life, worth the effort. Note the AT white blaze on the tree.

Looks like a wee section of a burn / stream on the boundary of Balloch Country Park, next to Loch Lomond, Scotland. That trail only rises maybe 30-35 feet, from the loch side, and is a 'fairy glen'...
