The decadent Karzon warriors no longer darken the stars with their agressive imperialism. The Karzon prefer to leave the drudgery of empire to the mechanical Cestus and spend their time in the endless gardens of the Royal Quarter. They remain largely ignorant of the massive attack on their holdings by former allies, The Grey.
