Description

Vue 5 with GI and superior mode. Tempest MK5, Porter and Breguet 14 model by me. F5 model from Mesh Factory retextured by me . Other free models by Alain Gracia, Pascal Olice, Helmut Schaub, Vincent Moyet and from other well known free stuff sites ... The posters on the wall are pictures made with Vue... About 8 hours render time I would like to add more objects in the scene, but I need to fit more RAM in my PC :-) Dedicated to my son Marc. He's a real plastic scale models fan ...

wow!....very nice work. if i saw this picture somewhere else i would not even think that it was digital. it is convincing on first glance. the only thing that might improve on it is the focal length of the lense....a 80-100 might alleviate the splayed perspective in the perimeter...still, it could have been taken with a camera by most people....i bet your son was blown away by it! very nce work!

Hey, what do my tired eyes see ? A F-5 Tiger II Jet from the famous Patrouille Swiss, and on the far left; could it be a red Pilatus Porter from the Flugzeugwerke in Stans, also located in Switzerland ? Your picture is very strong and a real pleasure to watch. Greetings from Switzerland and me with my right tumb up.

OK kids, now pay attention, THIS is how rendering is supposed to be done. Excellent work! I love it when I have to look really close to even find some small details to nit-pick :-). The paint bottles need a little dirtying up and the pocket knife could use a more reflective metal. The curved decals seem to be floating off the table just a bit and the flat paper could be just a half millimeter higher for enough shadow for the illusion of the thickness of paper. Having said all that, let me emphasize that these are getting ultra-nit-picky. This is a fantastic photo-realistic image and I love it! Those are just the only details that give it away as 3-D for me. I can't wait to see what you do next!

Very convincing photorealism here. When I was a boy (no, I'm not a girl now) I was a very big fan of these plastic models, the Tempest being one of the favourites - so this awesome render send me right back. Excellent - and a VOTE.
