Description

View from Hawk Rock vantage point on the Appalachian Trail, Pennsylvania, near the town of Duncannon. Sherman's Creek is below. To see Hawk Rock, you either have a steep southbound climb from the town of Duncannon, or a steep uphill climb headed northbound. Hiking uphill is the only way to get to beautiful views like this, as some things truly are worth the work and determination.

Great effort rewarded by a great shot. I will probably never visit the States, but the breadth of the country, and the richness of its landscape are wonderful to behold. Thanks for sharing the image.
