5 years ago, I was at this location is Hawaii. Being the poor photographer that I am, the pictures I took certainly did not come out as well as this image! LOL. This image was created as the result of serveral days of learning new software (Vista Pro, Daylon Leveller, and Terragen), finding applications, filters, and utilities that can do file conversions (DEM's, VDEM's, TER, Heightfield Maps, OBJ, & VOB), reading numerous tutorials, and being hopelessly confused. Luckily for me, Lynn has been helping me get through the maze. The final result is this image whose sky was created in Terragen, the landscape is from a DEM file of Hawaii, and it was rendered in Vista Pro. I also did some lite post work in Photoshop to soften some of the harshness of the render.

This is very nice, Sweetie! Never having been to Hawaii myself, I would have thought this was an image from England. Excellent picture!

WOW Looks like a place Ive been to more then once. Really beautiful & looks just like it looks in Hawaii. The hills are always amazing & always beautiful along with a feeling of peacefullness! I love the greenery. Outstanding work hun. I am just amazed how quickly you pull it all together in these programs. Xcellent V

Nice to see a Vista Pro image. You have taken great care on this one, using such varied programs. Most of mine were very ordinary, although I enjoyed making fly by movies, until I had to move to a new machine, which had only 256Mb RAM!
