Description
Onomea Arch can be seen from the old scenic route to Waimea. At one time, this landscape was connected with a huge tunnel through the rocks at its base but an earthquake in 1956 had caused the Arch to collapse.

So interesting the way the rock arch has left this "island" at the end and its so well planted. Pristine there I would think with little foot traffic. Beautiful.
