For some reason, the thing that popped into my mind when I saw this was a fleet of giant hatpins arrayed on an airport runway. Very creative work. The one thing that doesn't really work for me, though, is the background - I just don't think those dull gold tiles work well...

I think you pointed us all in approximately the same direction, Joe. As this was loading I was thinking of an alien fleet coming in low over the desert. Very well done.

Damn! Is this cool or WHAT?? The render is flawless, and the design is imagninative and complex. You know my favorite part (aside from the image as a whole) is that the foreground shadows came out looking like Aliens. Joseph, you amaze me.

WOW tripled (at least). Words fail me, Joseph. Awesome shapes and construct, cool colors and texture, and the shadowplay makes the design really pop. Once again, an original and outstanding piece of work. Bravo!

a wonderful array of instruments - of magic or destruction? not sure - the sharp edges and swirling colours are ways to break out of this world into another - magic or destruction???
