Description
Use your imaginations!
A wound of sorrow
For weakness invades
A hardened heart
Brought to its knees
The barrier collapsed
And emotions reclaim
That of stone
To clay

Beautiful!!! Best part: ""And emotions reclaim That of stone To clay It's nice to think that even the most hardened of us can return to a softer, gentler state...

So much said in so few words and so very well put. Yes, all need to use imagination and become the artists that mold the clay. I enjoyed the reading of this very much.

As I've aged I have come to the belief that the 'heart' never hardens. The 'mind' might - over some issues it has. It's like a jelly filled donut left on the counter for a week. The outside is hard and crusty. But the jelly inside is still soft. Wonderfully written sentiments.

Heart Like A Wheel, Linda Ronstad lyrics by Anna McGarrigle. That's what came to mind when I read this. "Some say the heart is just like a wheel When you bend it you can't mend it But my love for you is like a sinking ship And my heart is on that ship out in mid-ocean When harm is done no love can be won I know it happens frequently What I can't understand oh please God hold my hand Why it had to happen to me And it's only love and it's only love That can wreck a human being and turn him inside out Some say the heart is just like a wheel When you bend it you can't mend it But my love for you is like a sinking ship And my heart is on that ship out in mid-ocean"
