Description
My first ever completed work in cinema 4d. I made this robot following a tutorial which i've got from a magazine called computer arts. The tutorial was written by pete draper so he actually invented the robot. The tutorial was originally written for 3d studio max. But done by me in cinema. I made the head of the robot totally different than the one in the tutorial. It took me as a modelling novice almost 4 weeks to finish the complete tutorial. But i learned soooooooo much while doing it and it was fun!! Also thanx to everyone in the cinema 4d forum who helped me out when i had questions.

Terrific job on the textures, you got the reflections (well specularity in Bryce don't know what to call it in these crazy new programs you're working with) perfect.

Hey, I've got that issue of computer arts! Good Job! Way to hang in there and complete your project. I also get the 3dWorld magazine. It usually has a quick tutorial for c4d in every issue.

Materials and render quality are excellent. Great job. If this is your start I can't wait to see your second project. Good on you for finishing the tutorial too. Doing tutorials can sometimes be painful but they are brilliant for learning stuff.
