I applied some of the tips that were given to me when I posted the original. I added a bit more detail to the mountains, not too much though. And I smudged the hair on both characters as well as the wolf. Any more comments and tips will be appreciated!

Much better, don't be afraid to use the smudge tool. Experiment with it you'll like the effects you can get with it. I like this image.....good job.

You might want to extend the shadow of the wolf so it reaches its front paw, unless it's in mid stride :) because it looks like it's walking on air-to me anyway. Great image!

Got to go with DragonSlayer. The smudge tool is my favorite, not just to blur something but also to make the change of colors more smooth.

Thanks for all the comments everyone. And giantmushroom, I think you're right about the wolf looking like he's floating. I'll extend that shadow.
