Description

This shot was taken after about 700 meters of climbing uphill on Am Bodach on the north side of Glen Coe. The weather turned nasty (what a surprise)and I gave up and about turned. ~@~ Glen coe can seem a foreboding and gloomy place even in bright sunshine, given the conditions on sunday it was positively menacing. ~@~ The lost valley is seen on the left. This is where the cattle drovers of old hid their herds from rustlers. How they managed to get cows up there is beyond me.

An intriguing picture of one of our bleakest glens, AANGUS. Being unable to climb up there myself, I appreciate the opportunity to be able to view it, from the East End of Glasgow.
