They opened up the broken hands
The finger bones to shatter
They pry to see what's inside
And ask what is the matter
The visions come, the visions crawl
The visions are masked across the wall
The ghosts that linger in the mind
Press hands to head to block
The screams of dreams held within
The soul that's left in shock
The visions come, the visions spin
The visions are crushed beneath the skin
Left hollow eyed and mortified
The ribs they cannot breath
The voice that breaks in the distance
The heart left still in need
The visions come, the visions creep
If only the escape was sleep
