i recentley upgraded my poser program with the sr4 update and i wish that i hadnt.this new so called upgrade is making me relearn how i use backgrounds in my images and is very frustrating and i dont see it adding anymore stability to the program as it locks up just as often and just as easy.i have asked curios labs over and over how to downgrade to an earlier upgrade but they are avoiding the question.

Well the only plus that I can see SR-4 doing is cutting out the authorization step, other than that, nada. I'm still on SR-2! Awesome concept in this image. I like the pillars and the background also!! Excellent work!!

SR4 did fix a few issues in the cloth room, but was it worth it? not sure... Reinstalling poser is probably the only way to roll it back, though I'm sure you don't want to hear that!! Love the surreal look of this!! Kinda different for you, but still Awesome!!!

Wow Bill. I can't stop looking at this. The reflections in the watch piece are mezmerizing. Too bad about about Curious Labs -- If I were running that company, and one of the leading Poser artists in the world had a problem with my software, I would move heaven and earth to make it right. I'm glad I retired from the high tech rat race.

Well, sr4 has one major advantage: now it's possible to save a dynamic clothing prop with multiple dynamic groups! Didn't work before. And both dynamic hair and dynamic cloth tend to work better. No improvements in the render engine, I agree. A bit of explanation why they changed the background shader would have been nice. Downgrading is not possible. But you can make a backup of your prefs folder, uninstall Poser and then reinstall with sr3. Custom runtime items will remain in place, and once you copy back your prefs backup your preferences will be restored too. By the way, this is a wonderful looking image. Surrealistic, but I love the skeletons, the dragon, and those elephants at those regular intervals. Excellent work!
