Description
On the 28th of October, 1940 at 02.30 a.m. the Italian ambassador in Greece gave the Greek Prime Minister an ultimatum to allow the Italian troops from Albania to enter the Greek territory and occupy some positions. The answer of the Greek Prime Minister Metaxas has since become synonymous with the fight against the Axis, NO! (OXI in Greek "O-He"). In less than a month (and against all odds) an ill-equipped and underarmed Greek Army had driven the facists back into Albania liberating almost half of the country and turning Mussolini into a total comic figure in the whole world. This was the first real victory of the free world since WW2 began.
This is dedicated to my grandfathers both of whom fought there and the 12,000 of their comrades who never came back.

Nice! Yeah, it was the Italian's blunder that forced Hitler to invade the Balkans and Greece thereby delaying his attack on Russia by 2-3 months. That delay forced the Germans to stop just outside of Moscow allowing the Russians to launch their winter counteroffensive! So the Greeks may have lost but they helped win the war!

You have captured a sense of quite desperation and at the same time pride in these mens expressions and postures ....very impressive. On a professional note you re-textured the Daz Tunic pack and cape to re-create these uniforms ...I think?
