Description

Hi. :))) I hope this finds that you each had a very nice day. It seemed like all I did was stay on the phone trying to get a price on having a calendar made with my pictures, and now I have prices that I have to really think over. Okay enough about my day. LOL On Oct.23rd my husband came in and told me he had seen a Praying Mantis and of course I asked where he told me I got my camera and away we went and I know I spent 30-45 min. taking pictures of this little sweetie. This was the hardest image for me to capture especially using macro. All the leaves in the background plus the mantis being small made for a challenge. God knows that I gave my all while trying to capture the beauty of this Mantis. I hope you each will be able to see his beauty. Okay it's bedtime for me, and I would like to wish you each a nite full of Love and Sweet Dreams. I also wish each of you a Excellent Friday. Nite :))))))

All the best with your calender production, I'm sure it'll be a success! Brilliantly sharp macro, love the leaves as well. Gorgeously done =) V

I agree with Earthman - a secondary photo of you taking a picture of the Mantis would have been nice, the artist at work so to speak. You've done an excellent job of getting this shot though ... wonderful DOF and colour variation! I love it!
