Description

Oh Boy! I'm so excited! It's finally done!!! I've been working on this thing for like a month. It's the first moderately cool thing I've ever done in 3D. And now it's finished!!! (somewhere between my computer and the computer I'm uploading it on, the image got a little squashed. I don't know why.) Modeled completely in Cinema 4D R8.5 Diffuse Glow in PS7 (oh boy!)

yeah, it's also my first try at hyperNURBS objects that don't look like lifeless blobs. You might be able to tell where I learned how to use them. The chest is an overly-complicated series of extrudes and booles. But the head, leg coverings and feet are easier hyperNURBS's.

Just an idea, don't know if you know about it. On the "thighs" next time creat a symmetry object instead of just copying the leg. This will make it like a mirror image and the designs would be facing each other. Not sure if you understand what I mean. keep up the good work!

good tip FSB- another one, if you copy and paste the leg, stick it in a null object, then go to the attributes manager-coordinates for the null and put a (-) on the x size. this'll flip it . so then you can move it seperately

I was having trouble finding the mirror function. It only worked for editable objects and, when I mirrored it, it was part of the original object. So I just decided to copy-paste both the arms and legs.(the feet look weird, too) I'll try the negative-x size trick. Thanks!
