Hi! Welcome & Thanks for looking at my homepage. I hope you will find something you like here. Your comments & suggestions are very much welcomed! I’m a 63 year-old guitarist/amateur astronomer. There is nothing that gives me more pleasure than music & astronomy. When you're gazing at the starlit sky with the telescope,it seems to make all the troubles in the world disappear. There is at knowledge to be gained by observing the universe. Beauty surrounds all of us,something that most of us take for granted. The same can be said for music, which is very much a universal language,no matter what type or style. That makes for a perfect match. Give them both a try if you can, especially astronomy.....It will change your outlook on life & this little blue world that we call home!!!

Again - thanks for giving us a wonderful overview - but doesn't the Moon appear bright, reddish at first, get darker, then reddish again - then bright? Just wondering at the choice of sequence here.

This is only the 1st half of the eclipse. I couldn't stay up for the 2nd half(some people have to get up at 5:00am):( ...lol! Although, it didn't get as red as I thought it would, at least around here it didn't!
