Description

Innocence and an open smile are the hallmark of children, wherever they are in the world. I took this picture of the young novice monk in Mai la Mu temple in Yangon. The boy has never been photographed! He was thrilled to bits to see his picture on my monitor! It made his day and mine too!

Hi Suresh!! Thank you for your wonderful message. Yes, I did quite a research for the album, as I wasn't very aware of all the history myself, but it was surely worth it. Especially that someone actually read all the captions!! ;-)) Besides the fact that the two girls were dancing, the pictures of children were actually the easiest to take in this album. They were simply amazing. Also here you have a fantastic photo that is just beaming, and it makes the viewer beam too. Such similarities between children all over the world. However, those children who are so happy about being photogrphed are usually those whom you least expect to be happy in general. It sometimes makes you think, who is really happy? Who should be happy? etc. Anyway, the pictures is great. Friendly regards, Orly

I recognize him! He's the one I chose to put in in the album which has been burnt by Webshots incquisitors. It's one of my favorite pictures... I'm unable to express the effect this image has on me.
