(well, if she calls me uncle, she got to be my neice, right??;))
This Lilly the only one of it's kind seen by me on my trip to the Himalayas in may, 2004.

Tiger Lilly.. I think.. Looks like it to me.. I love them.. they come out every year right about my wedding anniversary and were my wedding flowers. I like wild flowers..and even sometimes weeds LOL So my wedding flowers were chicory, LOL Tiger Lilly, black eyed susans and golden rod.. so we didn't know if anyone was crying from emotion..or allergies LOL

You niece is very lucky to get such a beautiful gift! A wonderful flower and an awesome shot and presentation! We have similar flowers in the French Alps (protected species) called in french "lys martagon". It lokks like yours. It's a beautiful and rare flower ! thanks for your shot!
