Description

This is a quite a bit different than most of my other works, but then again I am messing with a slightly different style :) as for the credits.... a lot of stuff came from free stuff downloads that I have gotten and modified so long ago that I dont remember who made some of them, but thank you to those artists! Enjoy!

A lot of great attention to detail. Beautiful composition and gorgeous colors. I'm really going to have to work hard to come up with something that will match it during your "Alchemy Challenge." My only two (minor) negative comments: It's a little too perfect; too clean with only the book really having a used quality to it. And almost all of the lighting special effects -- from the crystal ball's flare to the crystals in the cabinet to the rings coming in the window -- are on the left side of the image. It overbalances the rest a little, IMHO. Even with those nitpicks, I have to say that it's one of your all-time best. It's good to see your art reflecting a more cheerful and fantastic mood, too! :-)

I love the composition of this image. What a view that alchemist has, I would love to have that!! :) very nice textures..and like LisaB says, especially on the book. I also like the overtone of blue, throughout the image. Very nice work.

Very nice! Very magical, I like that! :o) Where is he, though? On the moon, or is it the proof of alien life? (I'd like that, lol!) Great work!

Nice scene man, I really like the light from the crystal, the way it scatters the light, that's really cool. He must be one tidy alchemist, reminds me of someone I used to live with. If I had to change something I'd make it a little more....I dunno.....messy? I'd also lose the lens flare rings, they're kinda distracting. But that's just me being picky. All in all?....Great work, and a great idea.

as a photoshop person, i must say... I love the texture of the pic itself. i love that tool. nice attention to detail -- the light playing off that crystal ball is fantastic.... and the ?person? in the jar. very x-filesesque in a non-exfilesy alchemisty way... hehe. cool. my machine would choke on it (hence another reason i'm a photoshop person, HA!). keep rendering :)
