yet another rip from digital blasphemy...come on guys, that's not even bryce work, that's lightwave. if your going to rip someone's work, at least recognize what software was used..sheesh

No, this IS Bryce 5. The tree trunks were modeled in Rhino, the tops of the trees were made in Bryce 5's new tree lab, and the aurora on the top left is all postwork done in Photoshop. NO Lightwave

This is beautiful, but I have a supsension-of-disbelief problem here. If the moon were that large on the horizon, its light would be so intense as to wash out any aurora and the stars. Also, with no horizon line infront of the moon, it looks as though the moon has physically landed on Earth and is sinking into the ocean. The detail on the moon is fabulous, as is everything else in this pic. Oh hell, maybe I should just consider this as surreal, then there would be no problem. Either way, everything (aside from my moon placement rant) is very, very well done. My rating is based upon the uncertainty of your intensions with the moon.

Just awesome ......lovely image..!

Yes, I could have put the moon higher up and I could have made it smaller, but I wanted the moon to be the focus of the image. As to the horizon, I didn't want to put too much since it is a night scene and too much horizon light wouldn't look right.

i agree with stevey, all you have to do is push the moon farther back in the scene and this will be nice. i noticed the resemblance to digital blasphemy's work on your first post, since i'm a big fan of his. i don't find a problem with that (his work gave me the ideas for a number of my pics) but you probably should have tried to make this image more different than his, because as it stands, you do look like you're ripping him off. but anyway, my rating is based upon the fact that you aren't low enough to rip him off. good image!
