Description

  • "[...] I would like to see colors blending from top to bottom on an image, as well as left to right. I think this might be feasible, but I'm not a programmer, so maybe this is wishful thinking."

This letter came into my mailbox while I was playing with a new feature for "tuning an index" within the colouring algorithm. For the case I did not misunderstand the message - a very nice coincidence.

Please do not hesitate to tell me what you think about this. BTW: The geometric lines show the area of effect for the tune feature...

A big thank you to those who support my art with helpful comments. And a big smile to those who are in a melancholic or sad mood. Or make me think they were in such a mood. Or to all the other viewers too...

I saw both versions of Invasion of the Body Snatchers last night, so it seems like this is what goes on inside one of those pods - little fleshy things growing and forming and using energy to emerge not quite fully formed but constrained by the pod's shape itself - beautiful blending of colours in all directions

It's beautiful! I love the way the colors blend. I also love the texture, it looks like a wall fresco.

Wow, amazing work! The colourations are stunning and the texture reminds me of different panes of clear textured glass used in Stained glass art. It's hard to see where the colourings and textures start and leave off. hmm, antiquish/traditional colouring, greek key like bordering, oil paint style texturing and atom type circling... awesome combo!
