OK, I managed to sneeak in one more for this month's gallery challenge. This is a night scene with the bats loaded as a foreground image in honor of Halloween. :)

Really love this one. You always seem to have the right touch for these "Moon" pictures.. Dead tree's also a trade mark for you.. got to give you a V on this one. Excellent scene, a touch of the mystic..

Great render, Irene. I like the bats, since I've been reading a Dracula style short story. Is the moon imported as a background TGA file, over which the VistaPro terrain is rendered, OR a Flaming Pear Lunar plug in, OR is there some way of setting / rendering a moon image within VP? Nice work, however you managed it. John

The moon is just the standard VP moon with a Venus TGA texture map applied. I think that's from the VP CD? The bats were created in a paint program (they were clipart), the color adjusted so they weren't all black, placed on a black background, and then loaded as a foreground image in VP.
