Description

Imagine yourself in a ritzy art gallery and you see this intriguing concept piece. You carefully wade through a foot of water, wanting to read the little placard that describes the artwork that you find so fascinating. You see the price and it stands you up straight.
"$185,000.00 for this piece of crap?" you shout outloud.
Everyone in the place looks at you with scowls. In your embarrassment, you trip and fall backwards. The splash causes the water to reach the electrical outlet. You see a spark. That, is the Instance of Realization.
*** sculpture made in Amapi. Wall mat from Animax. No post except sig.

Well I don't think it would be me... I would look at this with some sort of awe at its sheer genius... sort of a built-in demise for the viewer who did though... I love this! It's both thought-provoking & engaging Dave!

This image is great. Nice lighting and wonderful realism. You never mentioned who paid the 185,000 to see the "art" fully realized though. =-)

You've got a shocking sense of humour, Dave. Very illuminating concept art!

Huh! I don't understand the front end...but the back end is shear genius. Very realistic. Nice mats and "wiring". So much for building codes!

You posted this Piece of C@&? I tell you, the instance of realization is when I viewed this and realized that it is better than I could ever do and that by voting for it jeopardizes my chances of getting my work in the HOT 20. But realizing this I went ahead and voted anyway. Now I stumble backward at my contridictory vote casting but simultaneously am humbled at the superiority of your talents. This is one fantastic Piece of C&%

That's amazing. The wall texture is great and the neon tub is pure genious. (Trying to work out how you did that). The only thing I'm not too sure about is the shadow, does neon cast shadow like that? I'll have to investigate. In anycase. Hot 20 for sure. V Oh, and I've seen "art" worse than this sculpture go for more.

This is one of the most amazing works of digital art I've ever, ever seen, period. Brilliant idea and an equally brilliant realization - and the background story is a treat for the brain too :D Thank you very much for sharing this!
