Description
Working to learn the brush functions of Painter with this piece. I have long been a fan of John Constable and always feel his influence in the way I see a scene. I used Lake George by John Casilear as a reference for parts of the picture to better concentrate on brush workings. No cloning however.
So much to learn!

BRAVO! Ken, this is one of the absolute BEST paintings i've seen on rosity! no exageration either. I am especially in awe of those rocks, and your exquisite mastery of all the textures on the right side of this image. The trees, shrubbery, grasses, etc. - exceedingly well carried out painting! Wish it was LARGER - but, even so- Nothing less than perfect, and you most definitely have my VOTE*!
