Description
A view from the Hills of Kosani (Uttranchal) India from my hotel room. I was practically over the clouds as you can see here and had for the first time experienced the rain from over the clouds.
It was a breathe taking moment.
Dedicated to my mate JCV2 who is the master of the hills and mountains.

Whoa! extraordinary capture...like you were right there...sittin' on another cloud takin' this shot!!! sigh such intense colors and feeling of peace here. i am drawn to that tree sticking out high above the others. it's important. it brings a cohesiveness to this image...unity. least that's what i feel. breathtaking image that's perfect for Jan-Carel! vote!

Thankyou for sharing this vista, for I have never realised that in the vastness of India, there are alpine forests. In general (in terms of the media) India is represented as a hot and humid (and over-crowded) country. This image proves that there is more to India that meets the eye. Beautifully captured and presented =)

We have resonance on the same wavelength! :) Wow, this is very impressive! sigh I love these mountain vista's, even with rain it's beautiful to see what happens, clouds in the valleys, the smellings of wet mountains, the raindrops falling in a silent way down on earth and trees!
