Description

There's a lot of waiting going on right now, and one of the hardest things to be patient with and accept when we're forced to wait. So much waiting for things we hope will come, and too little time spent enjoying the moments we have. I had planned to do some more on this, and possibly still will, however since I don't know when that will be and because of events in my own life (and the world), this seems a good time to show it as any. (Why wait until I get around to doing it, huh?) It's actually a photo of me taken in Stokesay Castle - which isn't really a castle, more a fortified manor - situated near the border of Wales. I fell in love with the place when I'd seen it in a library book at home, and when I was there a couple of years back, I HAD to go see it. I drew on the clothing in Photoshop to give it more of a Medieval feel, and did a bit more postwork there as well.

This is very good. However, shouldn't the lady be sitting on a cushion or so? Medieval castles were a bit more friendly on the users than the ruins we see today. You achieved a very nice feel here. Just needs a little brightening with a few 'people' details.

So melancholy, yet warming from the beautiful quality of light. I like the simplicity, drawing your eye straight to the figure. Great work my friend :) Thank you for creating and sharing hugs

I searched out some photos of the manor and can see why you love it so. It's a beautiful place and I hope to visit it myself some day. Great work on the outfit, you did very well in adding it in seamlessly (well, you know what I mean :D)
