Description

Next morning a first excited and curious view through the window into the garden on the backside. "How is the weather? Very sunny! Great!" Although I expected rain, because it is Scotland! But the whole first week it was sunny and there was only little rain in the evening! Very strange for Scotland! Beside: the first morning I got trouble with cooking coffee. Was missing a coffeemachine! Hm...tried something strange with a half plastic waterbottle as filter, but burned my fingers! So I had to look into plenty shops. BIG PROBLEM! Scotish people also only drink tea. After a three day search and in the 50th shop I got the only and lonely coffeemachine of Scotland! LOL Thanks for your visit and please be careful with your nose at the window glass! ;o)

Ouch ! That was the window... - What the hell does this boat do here? The great landscape looks like somewhere in the south to me...

A wonderful, almost dreamlike setting. Very nature-focused and great image. Glad you found the coffeemaker...was it then tough to find coffee to put in it? ;-)

I love your story -- my sister would be like that, going to shop after shop after shop to find that lonely coffee machine! I would eventually give up and settle for drinking about a gallon of Diet Coke (that's about 2 liters to those of you on the metric system). Very nice composition, by the way. That one little boat adds just the right amount of contrast (white amidst the earth tones) and interest. Nicely framed.

He he, Scottish life is something one needs to adapt to; but the landscape is impressive and that compensates for the incoveniences, though? Love this composition, well balanced!
