Description

hope I'm not boring you all! here's another one I did for the paper this year..based on a true story from America, about a radio station promo where they dropped live turkeys from a light plane-forgetting they can't fly! I tried to lighten up a terrible story the best I could!

A perfect illustration for the story! Poor turkeys! You should do a follow-up with the turkeys throwing the pilot out. Excellent work!

thanks for all your kind comments you lot! It's funny, when they suggested this idea for the cover, I thought it might get complaints-I actally suggested we do a dog with a radio logo about to be shot out of a cannon! so I had to make it as whimsical as possible-I initially spent half a day trying to bitmap 'real' looking feathers on the turkeys, but it took away the cartoon element too much, so I ran with the good ol shiny toy look! and no complaints!
