Description

I rendered about half a dozen different versions of this using different volumetric skies for each. This is one of my favorites. I just finished reading the Dragon Lance Chronicles by Tracy Hickman and Margaret Weiss and was inspired. Thanks for looking! Armour from RDNA, Vicki and Dragon from DAZ, castle by Luca Rodolfi.

This is good. The only thing that keeps this picture from being better is the angular, mechanical look of the background.

Lovely composition here as well as your attention to detail. Lighting is perfect. the only thing that bothers me is the fact that you seem to have rendered in broadcast. This merits an ultra or at least a superior render!

Very nice pose and light. I agree with FrenchKiss about the render quality. In Ultra render you would have avoided the rough lines around the paladin figure. Another little improvement would be a small blue light in the dragon's mouth due to the blue lightning. Anyway it's an excellent image - well done! :)))
